At
least the best of you came!!!
August 18th 2007,
was the 1st annual, 1st District Moose Family Olympics! Fun was had
by all who participated. We had about 40 participants and they were
competing in a myriad of events from Basketball to Bowling and man
did they have a good time!!!
There were also many, many
wonderful volunteers, you all know who you are and I and the participants thank
you with all of our hearts for your dedication, motivation and patients not only
through the day but also through the planning period and the lack of
participation from the rest of the District!
A special thanks also goes out
to our District President Freddie Rich for being there to help kick off the
events and also to the Valparaiso Lodge for their generous donation to the
Olympics, it was invaluable for the purchase of the medals and ribbons for the
participants.
